Coastal Boxer Rescue depends solely on volunteers to help run the daily operations necessary in saving boxers. CBR would not exist without our volunteers. We appreciate all our volunteers and gladly welcome compassionate volunteers to join our rescue group!
Here are just some of the ways you can help make a difference as part of CBR:
- Foster a boxer in need. We are always looking for foster homes. Please visit our foster page to learn more!
- Transport a boxer. We transport boxers throughout our 8 counties taking them from shelters to one of our veterinary clinics or foster/adoptive homes. Transport help may also be needed for meet and greets, events or medical appointments.
- Processing new adoption and foster applications, checking references and conducting phone interviews.
- Conducting home visits for potential adopters.
- Be a county coordinator for 1 of our 8 coverage areas. County coordinators handle a variety of things ranging from arranging vet appointments, giving guidance to the families fostering a CBR dog to gathering info and assessing boxers that have been placed in shelters or need to be surrendered by their owners.
- Manning CBR booths at local events.
- Fundraising! We are always looking for new fundraising ideas and hosts to hold fundraising events to benefit Coastal Boxer Rescue.
If you would like to volunteer with CBR please submit our online application and check the box for volunteer!
