Interested in adopting a boxer from Coastal Boxer Rescue?!

Prior to submitting an application to adopt one of our boxers, please read the following information below:

  • You must be 21 years of age to adopt from CBR 
  • All pets currently living in your home MUST be fully vetted.  This means your pet must be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and be taking monthly heartworm preventative. Your vet will be contacted by a CBR volunteer for verification. 
  • You must allow a CBR volunteer to conduct a home visit as part of the application process. 
  • We do not adopt out our boxers as gifts or surprises.  Any person that will become part of our boxers life will need to take part in the adoption process. 
  • We require landlord approvals for any rental property.

PLEASE NOTE: 

The information that you provide in this application aides Coastal Boxer Rescue in determining which of our boxers best fits you, your family and your lifestyle.

Make sure to answer all questions as incomplete forms may not be processed. You will receive a confirmation e-mail that your form was received. Volunteers try their best to process applications within 7 days’ time.

Please be patient. CBR is strictly a volunteer organization, and our volunteers do have full-time jobs, families and normal life events to tend to on top of their volunteering efforts.

Our adoption fees help to cover the medical costs of all the Boxers in our care.  Medical care for each dog typically far exceeds the amount of the adoption fee. Each dog being adopted through CBR has had a thorough health exam, current vaccinations, heartworm test, fecal exam, spay/neuter and microchip.  Many dogs have also required additional tests, medications, surgeries and/or heartworm treatment.

8 weeks to 12 months – $350

1 year to 3 years – $300

4 years to 6 years – $250

7 years and Up – $200

Boxer blend/Mix breed – $150

 

Seniors for Seniors Program –

Seniors Age 65 yrs and older looking to adopt a Senior Boxer Companion that is age 8yrs or older can qualify for an adoption fee of $65.

Studies have shown pet ownership may help increase fitness levels, relieve stress, lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels and boost overall happiness and well-being.

(You must still submit our online application and note that you prefer a senior dog and mention the “Seniors for Seniors” program to the volunteer that contacts you.)

Coastal Boxer Rescue covers the areas of Southeast Florida in the following counties: Volusia, Brevard, Indian River, Port St Lucie, Martin, Palm Beach, Broward and Dade. 

If you live outside of our coverage area, please submit an adoption application with the boxer rescue in your area.

A COPY OF THE OFFICIAL REGISTRATION AND FINANCIAL INFORMATION MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE DIVISION OF CONSUMER SERVICES BY CALLING TOLL-FREE (800-435-7352) WITHIN THE STATE.  REGISTRATION DOES NOT IMPLY ENDORSEMENT, APPROVAL, OR RECOMMENDATION BY THE STATE.  Coastal Boxer Rescue of Florida, Inc. state registration number is CH21576.  None of your contribution is retained by any professional solicitor.  100% of your contribution goes towards our operating costs, primarily the medical care for our foster Boxers.
