Apollo
Apollo has an amazing rescue story! He came to us 2019, after being found dumped on some backstreets in Miami by a caring Good Samaritan, who then reached out to CBR.
CBR took Apollo into rescue and he immediately went to our vet for the urgent care he desperately needed. He was severely malnourished and in heartbreaking condition, not only was he skin and bones like a skeleton, but he was crouched over and could not stand upright. It appeared his life before being dumped, was spent entirely in a very small crate. His back legs didn’t extend normally, and his paws showed signs of strict crate life. Apollo was still just a puppy and was as friendly, sweet and happy as could be, despite the horrible condition he was in and the neglect he had endured.
Apollo was welcomed into a loving and dedicated CBR foster home. Through months of medical care, aqua therapy, TLC and much more, Apollo became a strong, healthy boy thanks to CBR and the love and care that was provided by his awesome foster mom! Apollo had so many supporters through his rescue and recovery journey. He was a true fighter surpassing any expectations and is now a strong, healthy and fearless boxer boy! (And YES, as you could only imagine his foster mom made it official and ADOPTED Apollo!)
Apollo continues to amaze us with his resilience, strength & talents. His mom discovered some of his most favorite things…swimming and diving! And he is now the BEST DOCK DIVING BOXER and continues to set records in competitions. Apollo will always be a CHAMPION in our eyes!
